Crkva Sveti Nikola Bolnicka

Ohrid North Macedonia

Macedonian Orthodox

The church, built in 1313, is "of the hospital." It was built with dormitories that served as quarantine stations for city visitors during the plague. After the Turks came they were turned into hospitals, hence the name "Bolnicki." The church is just opposite St. Mary's Hospital (Sv. Bogorodica Bolnicka).
