Yakimanka, Moscow City (Central) Russia
Russian Orthodox
The church was built between 1686 and 1692 on the site of an old monastery. The church was closed from 1923 until 1992; the 1769 bell tower was taken down in 1930 and the domes removed. The facade was restored in the 1980s and the church from 1993 to 1995. Services were again held in 1992. Since 2012 the church has served Moscow's Chinese community with catechism, services, and fellowship.
