McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania USA
Orthodox Church in America
When Slavonic people first came to this area the only way they could worship was to cross in small rowboats and skiffs to a parish on the north side of the Ohio River. In 1914 the St. Nicholas parish was incorporated in McKees Rocks; the temple was dedicated in 1917. In more recent years immigrants from Russia, as well as others, have been welcomed to the parish.
