Byzantine Catholic (Ruthenian)
Founded in 1922 by Carpatho-Rusyns, the parish began in Hammond, Indiana. The present church was dedicated in 1963. It celebrates what may be the last regular weekly Church Slavonic Divine Liturgy among Byzantine Catholic churches in the US at 8:30 each Sunday. The church was served by both Orthodox and Greek Catholic priests until 1922 when it was incorporated into the Greek Catholic Rite in union with Rome.
