The oldest part of the church, the square tower, dates fromt he 12th century. The church belonged to the abbey of Coulombs and was partially destroyed in the Hundred Years War. It was rebuilt furing the 1400s. Decommissioned when the new church was built, it was used for a time as a fire station. Restored in 1988 it now serves the community as multipurpose space.
