Roman Catholic

Ancient icons from the 12th to 13th century were uncovered when the church was being reconstructed. St. Nicholas was the one who kept the rivers in their bed, brought rain needed for land and crops, and stopped storms to ruin harvest. The church is now known as the Church of St. John. It is also known as the "Church of the 1800-Year-Old Door," for the ancient carved wooden door that was discovered in 2008. The door is kept inside.
