The church building on Scranton Road was built for the Mother of God of Zyrovicy Byelorussian Church, the first Byelorussian church in Cleveland. The parish was formed in 1951 and this building consecrated in 1960. The congregation moved to Strongsville in 1999. After that the building became home to the St. Nicholas Belarusian Orthodox Church. The church was to be demolished in 2022 to make way for a park.
