Gerbrunn Germany
Roman Catholic
The church was built in 1209. In 156 it became Protestant, however, the Bishop bought it back in 1623. In 1945 bombs damaged the building; new bells were installed in 1949. In 1958 part of the church was torn down to make room for a new, larger church. Now a chapel, St. Nikolaus was renovated in 1978 and a new altar consecrated in 1980. The chapel, adjacent to the new church, was again renovated in 1999. All weekday services are in the chapel.
