Kleszczele Poland
Polish Orthodox
The church was built in 1709 as a belfry next to the old church. The church was destroyed during the war. Legend tells that it was absorbed into the earth for the sins of parishioners. If you put your ear to the ground on St. Nicholas Day, December 19, you can hear the church bells tolling to remind about this event. The belfry has served as a chapel since 1937. It was renovated in the 1980s and is a listed monument.
