Burguete Spain

The church is on the main street through Burguete, along the Camino de Santiago. As such it is part of the world heritage site of "Roads to Santiago de Compostela: French Way and Roads of Northern Spain." Over the years the church has been destroyed in numerous fires. It dates back to at least 1104, though the current building was reconstructed between 1945 and 1968. Remains of previous buildings have been incorporated into the present church.
