The parish church of St Nicholas and St Tatiana is the first Orthodox parish in the Autazavadskaya district. The parish was organized in 1994 and cathedral construction began in 1999; the exterior was completed in June 2010. The lower level will have the baptistery, refectory (capacity 100), conference hall, Sunday school, library and vestry. The upper church is designed for 3000 people. Height of the cathedral is 68 meters, larger than any church built in the last 100 years. Construction has been interrupted for a lack of funding. The wooden St Tatiana Church was completed in 1998. The parish operates an educational center, Sunday school, the drug treatment hospital church, and a counseling center for drug and alcohol addiction.
