Tula, Tula Oblast Russia
Russian Orthodox
From 1730-34 this new church replaced two separate wooden churches. In 1734 a crypt was added for burials of the Demidov family of industrialists. The church has several chapels: Christ, St. Nicholas, Andrew, and Tikhon of Kaluga. It has been called by these different names, though primarily as Nicholas-Zaretsky. The church was closed in Soviet times and used as a warehouse. It is now in use as a church.
