Vyysko Nicholas Church

The church was built in 1835 by Nikolai Demidov Nikitich's sons, in his memory. The main altar was consecrated to St Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra, in 1846. The church was closed in 1930. The only surviving piece is a sculpture of the Crucifixion that is now in the Nizhiny Tagil Museum. The church building was demolished in 1963. In 1997 the Vyysko-Nicholas Chapel was built on the site.
