St. Nicholas Parish Church

Wrea Green, Lancashire England UK

Church of England (Anglican)

The church on the village green was built in 1848 and consecrated in 1855. The earlier church, from 1715 and dedicated in 1755, was the Parish Church for a number of villages. The present parish, Ribby-cum-Wrea, takes its name from two of them. An annex was added in 2007, providing meeting rooms for the church and community. The Nicholas Bear Club is a midweek service for preschoolers with songs, story, prayer, play and snack.
