The wooden church, built in 1888 as a Lutheran church, uses material from the former Torun Miasto railwaqy station. The porch and tower were added in the 1900s, with the dome around 1990. The oak iconostasis is from the 1800s. The church was conserved from 2000 to 2004. It is the only wooden church in Torun and is listed in the register of monuments. The revitalized facade was consecrated in 2019.
