Nikolauskapelle

Karlsruche (Durlach) Germany

[Roman Catholic]

The chapel burned down in 1689 and after being rebuilt was damaged in a 1711 storm. Money was not raised and it wasn't rebuilt until later in the 1700s. In 1949 the grave stones were removed from the chapel floor and mounted on the wall in 1954. It was used for geriatric day care in the 1980s. Completely renovated in 2002 the building now has a large main room, kitchen, toilet and more. It is available for rent for parties, small concerts and other events.
