Surp Nigogayos Ermeni Kilisesi—St Nicholas Armenian Church

This small church serves a Gregorian community. First built in 1626, after a bad fire it was restored in 1813 and 1823 and almost completely rebuilt in 1831. It was again restored following the 1894 earthquake. The military used it during World War I, causing significant damage. The church was again restored and reopened in 1927. Restoration took place again in 1983 and 2000. The church has regular Sunday services.
