Boletice Czech Republic
[Roman Catholic]
The rare Romanesque church dates from the mid-12th century. It is the oldest church in southern Bohemia, though the chancel, vestry roof, and tower, were built in the late 1400s. The village became part of a military training base in 1947. The area was opened to tourists on a limited basis in 2008. The roof was repaired at that time. The church is ten kilometers west of Cesky Krumlov.
