[Roman Catholic]

The Gothic church was built around 1321. Catholic priests were replaced by Protestants during the 16th and 17th centuries. Later St. Nicholas became Roman Catholic again. The Church of the Virgin Mary was built in 1733 and St. Nicholas was declared redundant. The statue of St. Nicholas was put in the new church. The church tower and cemetery were sold at auction in 1788. The church was converted to seven apartments in 1789 and the tower was demolished, leaving only the original walls. A great fire in 1912 burned 40 houses, leaving only the church wall. The Gothic tracery was taken to Milevska, stored and later put in the museum. However, soldiers used the premises during World War I and the tracery was damage.
