The church was originally Greek-Catholic, built of wood in 1647. It became Orthodox in 1784 until around 1919 when it was converted to Roman Catholic use. The church was demolished in 1937 and the material used to build the church in Wola Korybut. This brick church was built in 1938. The former Orthodox/Greek Catholic altar was preserved and used along with two side late-Baroque altars.
