St. Nikolaus Kapelle

Isweiler / Nörvenich / bei Frauwüllesheim Germany

Roman Catholic

The chapel dates from the early 1900s, when it's believed that the former chapel collapsed and was rebuilt. The statue of St. Nicholas with three children in a tub was taken to the parish church in Kelz. A procession came each year from the parish church in Kelz, and later from Frauwüllesheim, to observe St. Nicholas Day. The processions ended around 2000. The chapel is 6 meters high, 5 meters wide, and 8 meters long. The chapel is a listed monument.
