Philadelphia (Elkins Park), Pennsylvania USA
Serbian Orthodox
Many Serbs came to the Philadelphia area at the end of the 19th and early 20th century. The Serbian Beneficial Club formed in the 1930s, but the people attended other churches. Plans to build were postponed until after World War II. The church was finally built in 1951. In March 2010 the church moved to the suburb of Elkins Park, to a building that had been a former Korean Presbyterian church.
