St. Nicholas Church merged with St. Edward of Brockton in 2003, forming the new parish of Saint Edith Stein in Brockton. The original St. Nicholas Church was sold to the non-denominational Lively Stones Christian Center. It was sold again in 2018 to the Brockton Portuguese Seventh Day Adventist Church.
