Rebuilt in 1803 and restored in 1860, it is in the Benefice of St Nicholas with Bonvilston and St George-super-Ely. The church is a navigation point for Bristol Channel seafarers. It is a Grade II listed building. The church received a grant from National Churches Trust in 2025 to install an accessible toilet and kitchen, making the church better able to serve the community.
