St Nicholas Church

North Cotes, Lincolnshire England UK

Church of England (Anglican)

This medieval church, dating from the time of Henry II in the 13th century, was in need of major rebuilding in 1864 as it was declared to be "very much out of repair and requires immediate restoration." New walls, roofs, porch, and furnishings were part of the complete restoraltion, though many original medieval features were retained. Five churches make up the the North Chapel Group, including two St Nicholas churches (North Cotes and Grainsby).
