St. Nicholas' is the daughter church within the Parish of St. Paul's with St. Nicholas', Wokingham. Beginning in 1976, this more informal church offers a wide range worship for all ages and offers pastoral services for a variety of needs. Known as St Nick's, it serves the Emmbrook housing estate which developed in the 1960s. It first met in Emmbrook's WI Hall, and moved to Emmbrook Junior School in 1985. Following refurbishment the church moved to Emmbrook Village Hall in 1996, the current meeting place.
