Church Website

The oldest parts of the church were built in the early Norman period around 1080. It was enlarged around 1280 and a chantry chapel added in 1480, completing its present shape. A room for children (and other uses), small kitchen and toilet were completed in 2009.

St Nicholas belongs to the Upper Mole Group of Churches with Emmanuel, Sidlow Bridge, St Michael Betchworth, and St Mary the Virgin, Buckland. The four churches each has its own parochial council and they share three priests.
