The Norman church sits on the village green and is the most historic building in Husthwaite, with parts dating from the middle of the 12th century. The tower was rebuilt in the 1400s. The building, garden, and memorial all belong to the village; the Church Council is responsible for the upkeep. The Church is open every day.
