This embedded relic of St. Nicholas was a gift from the Bishop Siluan of the Romanian Orthodox Diocese of Italy, set in an icon commissioned by the Dean and Secretary of their Archdiocese. It was received in 2019.

Founded in 1949, St Nicholas Church was in Worcester for almost fifty years. It moved into this new church during the fall of 2003.
