Church of England (Anglican)
Fleetwood is a relatively new town, established about 1850. The original wooden Church of Saint Nicholas, daughter to St Peter's, was in an area prone to flooding and washed away in 1927. The next church, now dismantled and reassembled, serves as the Scout hut. The new building, shaped inside like the upturned keel of a ship for the 'Ark of Salvation,' was erected in 1960. The church became a full parish in 1987. It was added to Historic England's English Heritage list in 2023.
