The small chapel, formally known as Chiesina di San Nicola di Bari, is under the entrance to the Church of S. Giuseppi dei Ruffi. It was used as a shop until the chapel was developed in 1868, when the original church from 1281 was demolished to create the current Via Duomo. The chapel once held Filippo Vitale's 17th century painting of St. Nicholas with Saints Gennaro and Severo, is now in the National Museum of Capodimonte in Naples. The chapel now hosts the Arciconfraternite Office of the Curia.
