Lubaczów / Lyubaciv Poland
Greek Catholic (Byzantine)
The parish was founded in 1666. The church was built in 1883, replacing an earlier wooden one. It served around 3000 people before the Ukrainian expulsion. The church was closed for 25 years, with permission denied to hold Ukrainian Greek Catholic services. The iconostas is from the former Greek Catholic church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Niemstów, removed when that church was taken over by the Roman Catholic Church. It has again been a Greek Catholic parish since 1996.
