Amalfi, Campania Italy
Roman Catholic
The church likely dates from the 11th century. It was first noted as de Grecis in 1277, either for Greek residents or for the Byzantine rite. In 1463 it became the seat of the confraternity of the Holy Trinity and has been known as the Chiesa di Santissima Trinità. When the San NIcola congregation was added in the 1500s, San Nicola was added to the name. The church was restored in the 1700s and again in the 1990s.
