Church of St. Nicholas

Cook's Creek, Manitoba Canada

Ukrainian Catholic (Byzantine)

The church was in Cook's Creek until the early 1930s. It amalgamated with the Church of St. John the Baptist that was just three miles away. St. John the Baptist was built by Father Philip Ruh and was renamed the Church of the Immaculate Conception, popularly known as the Cathedral of the Prairies. All that remains of the Church of St. Nicholas is the cemetery between Cook's Creek and Sapton.
