The Chapel of St. Nicholas is mentioned in 1264 and when it burned down in 1465. A wooden church was built in 1710 that lasted until 1929. A new church was built from 1914-1929 by the parishioners themselves. It was painted in 1956 and the interior renovated in 2009.
