Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker

Petropavlovka / Sairabad Azerbaijan

[Russian Orthodox]

The foundation stone was laid in February, 1871. It was built of baked bricks on a stone foundation with an iron roof, octagonal wooden dome covered with tin. The wooden bell tower cupola, also covered with tin, had five bells. It was finally consecrated in 1888 in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. The church was probably destroyed in the Soviet era as it no longer exists.
