The church, built by Cossacks in 1826, stayed open during the Soviet period. It housed a parish school, an almshouse, a library, and an archive. The wooden church is covered in planks. One altar is dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, the second to St. Panteleimon the Healer. One of the oldest churches in Stavropol, it was completely destroyed by fire in June, 2026.
