Church of St. Nikola

Sušica / Gostivar North Macedonia

Macedonian Orthodox

The church was built in 1871 in the southern part of the village on the site of an older church. There is a pool in the courtyard for the Feast of the Epiphany. It was poorly renovated in 1975-1976. After consultations the church was demolished and this new one was built on the foundations of the old church. The carved iconostasis, icons, and the cross above the iconostasis are from the old church. The church was consecrated in 2014.
