The parish church was first mentioned in 1507. The wooden church burned down in 1896, with a temporary wooden chapel built that year. The current church was built from 1900-1904. The inside decorated in 1932-35. The church was closed from 1962-1988, and used as a museum part of that time. It is an architectural monument of local importance.
