The brick parish church of St. Basil was built in 912; the Assumption Cathedral was added in 2002-2009. The complex, suffered severe damage in the Russian invasion of Donetsk in 2022. The complex is also known as

Svyato-Uspensky Nikolo-Vasilyevsky monastyr.
