The small walled-in church is in the mountain village of Kičinica, about 9.5 kilometers north of Mavrovo. The tiny village, just eight dwellings, is a cultural heritage site. The church was built in the 1800s with the iconostasis icons from 1849 and 1850. Thirty-two are registered and protected by the Republic Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments. The building was renovated in 2007. The church has several noted paper-graphic, copper engraving, icons. The most interesting is martyr Geore of Yanina. There is also one of St. Nicholas.
