The parish church was probably built in the 1400s, burned down in 1603 and then rebuilt. It was renovated in Baroque style in 1760, with internal decorations finished in 1914. From 1939-1945 it was used as a grain warehouse and valuable items stolen. The parish priest was sent to the Dachau concentration camp in 1942.
