Holz / Holtz Luxembourg
There was a church here as early as 1330. The tower was probably built in 1692, with the new church consecrated in 1747. The tower was renovated in 1870. The whole church was renovated in 1959. The church has an electricly powered carillon that plays a tune every hour. Renovation took place again in 2016 with the pews sold to Belgium and new chairs installed. The pulpit removed with the four reliefs of the evangelists removed and hung as pictures. The stations of the cross were also removed. A digital organ was installed, though the original organ is preserved. Only one window was restored and placed in the entrance.
