The small medieval church from the 1500s was painted from 1567 to 1568. The brick iconostasis is well known. The church, though a protected cultural monument, is no longer in use and it is sunk into the ground. Frescoes were finished around 1600. The church and its frescoes are regarded as among the most important medieval buildings in Macedonia and well-known by scholars. Some artifacts are now in the Kratovo city museum.
