The church was built in the 1100s and demolished after the reformation in 1536. A brick meeting room was built on the site. Archeological investigations have taken place in 1953 and 2006, with some of the foundation walls found. The commemorative plaque is on a house facing Lilla Gråbrödersgatan, siste of the church.
