St. Nicholas Church

Kyiv / Mykilska Slobidka Ukraine

[Ukrainian Orthodox]

The church was built in Mykilska Slobidka, a small village on the left bank of the Dnieper, across from Kyiv. The name came from the monastery who owned the lands. Built in the late 1800s, it was demolished in 1961. Nearly the whole village was demolished in the 1970s. The Livoberezhna housing estate, a suburb of Kyiv, was built.
