Georgian Orthodox
The church was built from 1846-1854 by Greeks who had settled earlier from Anatolia. Services were initially in Greek. It was closed in the 1970s and housed a workshop of the Theater Society Industrial Plant. The Patriarchal Library was located there in the 1980s. Church services resumed in 1990 and the Patriarch gave 5,000 rubles to equip the church and it was consecrated. Since that time repair work has been carried out. The red brick church has blue tiles on the dome, and the roof is red tiles.
