St. Nicholas Church

Vepryk Ukraine

Ukrainian Orthodox

The church was built in 1823, next to an older wooden one that was removed when the new church was finished. It was renovated in 1869. During the 1930s the church was closed, though reopened (1941 or 1942) during the German occupation. In 1952 it was dilapidated and again deregistered. The building was used as a warehouse for seeds. Following restoration in 1968-1969 it was unused and again fell into disrepair over the next 30 years. In recent years restoration has taken place.
