The castle church, in the middle of the courtyard, was built in 1586 or 1591 as the castle Catholic chapel of St. Stanislaw. During the Ottoman occupation, 1662-1699, it was used as a mosque. In the second half of the 1800s it was reformed into an Orthodox church for the military. The Soviets used it for economic purposes. It was granted to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in 2005. Since 1963 the church and fortress were designated architectural monuments.
