The church was built of silicate brick in 1913. In the 1930s the bells were removed and the church used as a collective farm pantry. Reopened during World War II it was again close4d in 1963 and used as a school gym. The church reopened again in 1991. It was renovated in 2007, with new frescoes, floor heating, three new iconostases, and new colored glass windows. Twelve new bells were installed in the bell tower in 2008.
